The United States also expressed its annoyance at the acquittal of a sheikh, and its Foreign Minister Anthony Blinken repeated a call for accountability in his first phone call with his Pakistani counterpart on Friday, but the review committee headed by Judge Omar Atta Bendial upheld the acquittal ruling and ordered the transfer of the sheikh from prison to a “rest house” before Release it completely.
“He should be moved to a comfortable residential environment such as a rest house, where he can lead a normal life,” the judge said.
