Young Martha Elizondo managed to lose 50 kg of weight in one year, after she was obese, and her weight reached 114 kg.
According to the American ABC network, Elizondo was able to get rid of excess weight by following several simple steps.
The young woman recounted that she began her steps in 2017 when she measured her weight and found that it was 114 kilograms, which was the thing that made her cry, and said that she felt sad as she did not believe that her weight increased so quickly.
She added that she started changing her eating habits on January 1, 2018, and after a year, she managed to lose 50 kilograms by February 2019 and explained that when she started she did not want to make drastic changes.
She stated that her previous diet was based on eating fast food, as she ate a whole pizza on her own, but she later decided to prepare meals at home more, and to limit eating fast food to twice a week.
She continued that the following month, she began to walk around, and after a month she began to use the hand walker for 30 minutes a day, and in April she began to use it for jogging.
She explained that she began to increase the distances for running, for example, from 5 kilometers to 10.
She stated that she had moved away from social contact during that period as her health was her priority and this meant avoiding eating meals with family and friends.
She said, “They know me and I knew that if they saw me ask for a salad, they would ask why, so I wanted to avoid this situation.” And she continued, after losing the extra weight, she returned to them again.
She pointed out that she used to spend Friday nights jogging and drinking water, and she also used a meal tracking app called My Fitness Pal that helped her lose weight and keep it from gaining.
