Aerospace clusters in Montreal and Querétaro sign agreement to potential the industry

Queretaro, Qro. The aerospace clusters from Querétaro, Aeroclúster, and from Montreal, AeroMontreal, signed a memorandum of understanding, which establishes bases for cooperation, in order to promote the growth of this industry in both the Mexican and Canadian regions.

Therefore, they will exchange information, as well as the best practices in innovation and technological development. Similarly, they will encourage participation in joint activities.

The development of strategies and initiatives that promote common objectives is also proposed, together with the creation of an action plan.

AeroMontreal was formed in 2006, it integrates the main people in charge of the aerospace sector in Quebec, including companies, educational institutions, research centers, associations and unions.

The president of the Querétaro Aerocluster, Verónica Méndez, and members of AeroMontreal participated in the signing of the memorandum; including the entourage of public servants from Queretaro who are touring Canada.

In addition, as part of the third day of activities of the tour, the governor of Querétaro, Mauricio Kuri González, participated in the panel of the Montreal International Relations Council (Corim), before 200 businessmen, he explained the competitive advantages of the state.

Similarly, the secretary of Sustainable development (Sedesu), Marco Antonio del Prete Tercero, visited the ADFAST company; In a meeting with directors of the firm, he presented the capabilities of the state to attract companies in this field.
