Today, Tuesday, an Iraqi pharmacist managed to register himself as the first citizen to receive the Chinese (Sinopharm) vaccine, which received a gift from the Beijing government for its Iraqi counterpart.
The director of Al-Karkh Health in the Iraqi capital, Jaseb Al-Hijami, appeared in a video clip giving the vaccine to an Iraqi pharmacist hours after his arrival from China.
Today, Tuesday, 50 thousand doses of Corona virus vaccine arrived in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, as a gift from the Chinese government.
The RT correspondent said, “An Iraqi military plane arrived from China carrying 50,000 doses of vaccine (Sinopharma) as a gift from China, provided that Iraq would receive other paid payments.”
Iraqi Health Minister Hassan Al-Tamimi said during a press conference held at Baghdad International Airport: “It was agreed with the Chinese ambassador to Iraq to supply two million doses of (Sinopharma) vaccine in an urgent manner.”
