Al Jazeera's camera recorded scenes of the first moments of an Israeli raid targeting Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir Al-Balah in the Gaza Strip, resulting in a number of martyrs and wounded.
The video clip – prepared for Al Jazeera by journalist Ashraf Abu Amra – showed the state of terror and panic that prevailed among the citizens who took refuge in the hospital, and the major destruction that occurred to some of its facilities.
The camera also showed the complete destruction of the hospital gate and one of the buildings adjacent to the hospital that were targeted by the Israeli bombing, and the efforts of citizens to remove the bodies of the martyrs, rescue the wounded, and transfer them to the reception department, which was also damaged as a result of the raid.
