With regard to the hospital’s cost and dues, estimated at 550 million centimes, “a doctor of Algerian origin, from the city of Elma, who works and lives in the United States, paid for all hospital expenses, and established contact with the patient’s sister, as the patient’s family began to adjust procedures to return him to his country.
The patient is called Miloud Naija, who is a Ph.D. in computer media and a professor at Bordj Bou Arreridj University. The patient was surprised and his sister, who accompanied him to Turkey, and who was unable to provide the amount, which the hospital administration insisted on the need to provide in exchange for allowing the patient to leave the hospital.
