The site of the Russian “Ross Kurskus” space institution, had previously reported that the satellites had separated from the Russian “Frigate” acceleration unit, which is considered part of the missile and is devoted to delivering space devices to their designated orbits.
This came after the successful launch of the Russian “Soyuz-2.1B” missile, carrying 36 British OneWeb satellites on board.
It is noteworthy that the Russian missile launched at 5:47 pm on March 25 into space from the “Vostochny” space airport in eastern Russia.
It is worth noting that the agreement signed between the British company “OneWeb” and the French company Arianespace, which took over the supervision of the British satellite launch, stipulates that 16 Russian missiles will be launched from the French “Koro”, “Baikonur” and “Vostochny” airports, in the years 2020-2022. Each missile carries about 36 British communications and Internet satellites.
