The Israeli “Walla” website reported that Israeli security estimates suggest that the Iranians have opened an indirect dialogue with the administration of US President-elect Joe Biden about the nuclear deal.
The site touched on the recent visit of the US Chief of Staff, General Mark Amelie, to Israel, and his meeting with the Israeli Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi, where he had a lengthy professional discussion with him with the participation of a number of Israeli military leaders.
Kochavi Umamah reviewed reports that monitored security developments in the region, focusing on the Iranian nuclear project, the Iranian presence in Syria and ballistic missile projects, and the common security challenges that the Israeli and American armies will face in 2021.
The report stated that Kochavi is in constant contact with the leadership of the US Army, and there is rapprochement and coordination between the two sides.
The site indicated that there is a great agreement between the two sides, but not completely, on the image of the situation related to the Iranian issue and the methods of its management, and that according to the assessments of the situation in the Israeli security apparatus, the Iranians have begun an indirect dialogue with the Biden administration, which will take power next January.
