The NBA postseason has its first star: Glue Girl.

An animal-rights activist identified as Alicia Santurio stormed the court during Tuesday’s postseason play-in game between the Minnesota Timberwolves and visiting Los Angeles Clippers before attempting to glue her hand to the hardwood.

The protest caused a brief delay, but the game resumed shortly thereafter. Santurio was not arrested, according to authorities, but she has been banned from the Target Center in Minneapolis for a year, and could be prosecuted if she tries to re-enter.

‘I was just told by security that she apparently had glued herself to the floor and she refused to lift her wrist up,’ TNT’s Allie LaForce said during the second quarter of the Timberwolves win in Minneapolis on Tuesday night. ‘They were trying to pull her off and she was resisting trying to keep her wrist glued to the floor.’

Rembrandt Enterprises, an Iowa factory egg farm owned by Taylor, allegedly killed 5.3 million chickens following a recent avian influenza outbreak, according to the animal rights group, Direct Action Everywhere. To kill the chickens, Taylor’s farm allegedly used a process known as ventilation shutdown, which uses a ‘combination of heat, steam and/or carbon dioxide gas,’ to suffocate the birds, according to the group.

‘We were doing it to raise awareness about an investigation that we just released today about Rembrandt Farms,’ Santurio said in a social media video after her ejection. ‘They had another outbreak of avian influenza… So we found out there was an outbreak, we found the farm and investigators went and documented how they were killing the chickens. Turns out they were using VSD… ventilation shutdown, where they basically close off the barn, pump a bunch of heat into the barn and are basically roasting the chickens alive.’

Spokespeople for Rembrandt and the Timberwolves did not immediately respond to DailyMail.com for comment.

Rembrandt previously had an avian flu outbreak in 2015, which resulted in 2 million egg-laying hens being killed at Minnesota farms, the company acknowledged at the time.
