US President-elect Joe Biden said he would be happy to see Vice President Mike Pence at the inauguration ceremony, but not the incumbent President Donald Trump.
Biden said in a press statement, that Trump’s decision not to attend the inauguration ceremony was “good.”
Earlier, Trump said he would not attend the inauguration ceremony, and a spokesman for Pence stated that the vice president had not yet been invited there.
Biden’s inauguration ceremony is scheduled for January 20.
