The referential index S&P/BMV IPC from Mexican stock exchange (BMV), which groups the 35 most traded shares in the local market, yields 0.14% at the level of 53,504.35 points. The FTSE BIVAfrom Institutional Stock Exchange (Biva), moves 0.11% to 1,117.22 points.

Within the index, most of the components operate with slight gains. A sharp decline in the shares of Grupo México, which falls 4.25%, drags down the market, followed by those of Walmex, which loses 1.35%, and Grupo Financiero Banorte, with 1.34 percent.
