Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro has revealed that he intends to parachute with several members of his government at the beginning of next 2021.
“We plan to do a parachute jump here in Brasilia in January or early February,” Bolsonaro said in a speech on Thursday. “I want to recall the good times for my service in the paratroopers.”
The 65-year-old Brazilian president made it clear that he had invited a number of his government members to join him, indicating that they had also served earlier in the military forces.
Bolsonaro indicated that this event aims to “enhance team spirit”, indicating that the jump is expected to take place from a KC-390 military transport plane manufactured by the Brazilian “Embraer” company.
Bolsonaro served about 10 years in the artillery and paratroopers forces and ended his service in 1988 with the rank of captain.
