A British pensioner found a piece of jewelry she was about to get rid of during a cleaning operation in her home, and it is in fact a diamond worth £ 2 million.
According to the “Mirror” website, the woman bought the stone several years ago by a woman in her seventies, who described the stone as worthless, but she was convinced that it was valuable, and she was recently keen to evaluate it by a neighbor who received the amazing news that it is a diamond and has a fortune.

Mark Lane, of Fittonby Auctions in North Shields, told the BBC that the woman came down from the street to his shop with a box containing a ring and a number of low-value jewellery, and he suspected the high value of the ring.

He added:“It stayed at my desk for two or three days until I used the diamond testing machine, then sent it to our partners in London before it was certified by experts in Antwerp, Belgium, who confirmed it was a 34-carat diamond..”
He said the woman wanted to remain anonymous but told him she enjoyed going to car box sales and never thought for a moment that it was a real diamond..
