Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton shared her recollections with Queen Elizabeth II as funeral processions have begun for the late monarch.
On CNN’s “Condition of the Union” with Dana Bash on Sunday, Clinton reported she and Queen Elizabeth II would at times share “wry” comments about being females leaders on an global phase.
“I can not say that I talked at any size. Sometimes, there would be a wry exchange about how, as a woman chief, you generally experienced to have your hair performed,” Clinton stated on Sunday. “Of program, she usually appeared best, in contrast to some of us. Clinton explained the late Queen as a “symbol of a strong, stalwart woman chief.”

Clinton praised the Queen for her “devotion to duty and her feeling of obligation” to her people.
“But I also observed a more playful and relatively funny and quite, very warm facet of her as well,” Clinton mentioned. “All of the presidents, all of the key ministers, everyone that she met, I feel, saw that twinkle in her eye, and probably were fortunate more than enough to exchange pleasantries that went past just the official greetings.”
Clinton included: “And which is how I felt. I felt very privileged to see her in various configurations more than the time that I knew her as to start with lady and then secretary of state.”
