Cristiano Ronaldo silences the noise in his historic World Cup

How much relief a goal can bring and more when you have had a football season mired in criticism and discomfort. Cristiano Ronaldo from Qatar continues to face the melodrama of the divorce with Manchester United. A few days ago he reiterated in an interview that it is a club where he has not felt valued: ”I feel betrayed because they have turned me into the black sheep (…) I don’t respect Ten Hag because he doesn’t respect me. If you don’t have respect for me, I will never have respect for you.” The problems of the number 7 with the Premier League club, which is experiencing a low-profile football torment and without a Champions League party next year, has been the focus of its prelude to its fifth World Cup.

Just 48 hours before Portugal’s debut in Qatar, Manchester United thanked CR7 and soon after, the English media reported on the sale of the club, the figure of which could reach 5.5 billion dollars. The goal via penalty at minute 65 surely had the eyes of 32 nations around the world, the shot on the television, their gaze at the sky, a deep breath and the shot!
