NFL power rankings 12.0: Rams and Colts push for elite status
SportsPulse: The Rams and Colts made the biggest statement wins of Week 11. How far did they rise? Mackenzie Salmon breaks down the risers and fallers in this weeks power rankings.
The Dallas Cowboys canceled practice Tuesday morning due to a medical emergency.
The cancellation resulted from a “non-COVID related medical emergency involving a staff member,” a team spokesman said in a statement.
The Cowboys already faced a short game-preparation week between a Sunday contest at Minnesota and Thanksgiving game hosting the Washington Football Team. The team had a walkthrough practice Monday and planned to practice in helmets Tuesday for “an hour, an hour 35 minutes,” McCarthy said Monday night.
In addition to cancelling 12:30 ET practice, the Cowboys also canceled head coach Mike McCarthy’s 11:30 a.m. ET press conference and 2 p.m. ET scheduled interviews with players.

OPINION: Tom Brady can’t measure up to his old self when Buccaneers need him most
The news came less than 10 minutes after Cowboys owner Jerry Jones concluded an interview on Dallas radio station 105.3 The Fan, signing off with a note on how fun the visit was as he spoke brightly about the 3-7 Cowboys’ win over the Vikings. Jones also confirmed that no member of the organization had tested positive for COVID-19 this week despite Vikings receiver Adam Thielen, whom Dallas faced Sunday, landing on the virus reserve list.
The team said additional information would be provided at an appropriate time.
