Today, the Danish Infectious Diseases Control Agency announced the registration of 86 cases of the newly discovered mutated Coronavirus in the United Kingdom, expressing concern about the increase in local infections with it.
The agency official, Terra Grove Cross, warned that the spread of the infectious mutated virus at a faster rate would result in a more severe epidemic curve, adding that “this means that infection prevention measures must be strengthened or kept for a longer period to control the epidemic.”
And the Scandinavian Kingdom, with a population of 5.8 million, is the country that has reported the largest number of similar injuries, according to figures announced by the national health authorities.
The outbreak of the mutated virus in Denmark is not exclusively related to people who have visited the United Kingdom.
Denmark is one of the countries that work to monitor this type of infection the most, and prepare a new “BCR” test that will detect changes in the virus.
The health authorities recommend keeping the restrictions in place, namely working remotely, and closing schools and companies, except for pharmacies and food stores, to prevent the spread of the virus.
