Dying Night is an Uncommon Iconic Pistol. It’s one of the earliest Iconic Weapons you can get for free in Cyberpunk 2077.
How to Get Dying Night
After you complete The Rescue, V wakes in their apartment. From here you’re tasked with meeting Jackie. Before you do, though, you’ll need to make a pitstop. You can also get this after meeting with Jackie and doing other Jobs, but you might as well pick up your present while you’re at V’s apartment building!
Take the stairs down to the lower level from V’s apartment and walk through the shopping area toward the elevator. Across from the elevator is a gun shop called The 2nd Amendment.
Walking by starts the side quest called The Gun. Enter and talk with the vendor to see his items. Find Dying Night in his shop menu. It’s an Uncommon/Iconic weapon with am exclamation point in the corner. It’s completely free! Take it, read a bit about how Iconic weapons work, and you can be on your way.
