He said that cooperation between the riparian countries, in studying, implementing and operating dams and infrastructure projects, stressed that it is the ideal model for achieving mutual benefit and promoting good-neighborly relations, stressing that Egypt seeks to adopt this model in its relations with the Nile Basin countries.
The Egyptian minister pointed out that his country, throughout history, was and is still keen to provide support in the areas of financing, building and preparing technical studies for the construction of dams, and it is not against development in the Nile Basin countries, but it objects to any unilateral action by the Nile source countries, without taking into account. The interests of the downstream countries.
