- Grains like quinoa, brown rice, oats, corn, wheat
- Fruits such as apples, bananas, cherries, avocados, peaches, pears, pomegranates, apricots, blueberries
- Vegetables such as pumpkin, spinach, potatoes, carrots, broccoli, onions, ginger, beetroot, mushrooms, zucchini, turnips, beans.
- All legumes and legumes
- Occasional or limited intake of ghee, skimmed milk (with turmeric) and low-fat yogurt
