On Sunday, the first phase of the vaccination campaign against Covid 19 begins in two or three homes for the elderly in France, and will include several dozen inmates, according to Health Minister Olivier Ferrand.

The minister said that the campaign “will first include two or three houses, one on the Paris side located not far from Paris, the other from the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté side, and perhaps a third one that we have not yet identified,” explaining that the first batch of vaccines “will be delivered on Saturday.”
He added that the first doses developed by the “Pfizer – Biontech” alliance will include a few dozen inmates on Sunday, to include other centers on Monday and then Tuesday, expecting larger quantities of the vaccine “at the end of December and early January.”
And 386 people with Covid-19 died in France in the last 24 hours, which brings the number of deaths to 61,702 since the start of the epidemic.
