The World Health Organization announced that its experts will get more details about the possible impact of the new strain of Corona virus, which was recently discovered in Britain.

The director of the technical team for fighting “Covid-19” of the World Health Organization, Maria Van Kerckhove, said that scientists are studying the immune reaction to the virus and there will be results in the coming days or weeks.

She compared the two strains discovered in South Africa and Britain, indicating that there was no connection between them, and that they were two different strains.

She confirmed that Britain and South Africa are cooperating with the WHO on the two new strains.

It is reported that Britain announced last week the discovery of a new strain of Corona virus, which is faster than the previous one.

A number of countries announced the suspension of flights to and from Britain, or restrictions on travel to Britain.

The Republic of South Africa also announced the discovery of a new strain of Coronavirus, 501.V2.
