The US Public Prosecution published footage showing a young man’s body on fire inside the Catskill Police Station in New York State, and announced that it had opened an investigation after the death of the young man about two months after the accident.
The scenes show young Jason Jones, 29, apparently in a state of anger inside the Catskill police station, and his lawyer later explained that Jones went to the station to discuss a previous incident, as he was in a bar and the police ordered him to leave due to the tense atmosphere.
In the video recorded on October 30, Jones appears to be pouring a disinfectant on his head and body.

Three policemen at the station tried to control the young man, and one of them fired his stun gun at Jones, setting his body on fire immediately.
The video shows the policemen all leaving the hall when the fire broke out, leaving the young man alone on the ground, then one of them returns after 14 seconds.
The young man was taken to the hospital, where he stayed for more than two months, and then died.
The New York State Attorney’s office said – in a brief statement – that the Department of Justice’s Office of Special Investigations is conducting an investigation into the death of Jason Jones.
