Chocolate enterprise Hershey mentioned it stands by its Global Women’s Working day campaign showcasing a trans woman pursuing social media calls to boycott the firm over the move.

The controversy about Hershey’s marketing campaign followed another fracas at M&Ms. In 2022, M&Ms rebranded the physical appearance of its “spokescandies” mascots by replacing the footwear of each the brown and environmentally friendly woman M&M’s.
