“It was the Saudi regime that financed the American decision to classify Ansar Allah as a terrorist organization,” he said in an interview with the Iranian Al-Alam channel.
Judge Al-Mahbashi explained, “The American move came as a farewell message to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and to pay off the arrears that bin Salman had previously paid to the American administration.”
He added, “The Saudi crown prince has not and will not be able to reap a finished victory in Yemen, and they are returning these late payments in overtime.”
The US State Department had announced the classification of “Ansar Allah” on the list of international terrorist organizations, as this provoked angry domestic and international reactions, especially the United Nations, which said that this decision would affect its humanitarian efforts.
