Under the above heading, Olga Bugeva, in “Moskovsky Komsomolets”, wrote about the development of Russian electronic warfare tools.
“In recent days, the Western media have been telling their readers, almost every day, about how NATO will fight Russia in Europe,” the article says.
More recently, American analyst David X provided another “horror story” to the Europeans terrified of Russia about the unlimited potential of the Russian electronic warfare system. In the journal National Interest, he published an article describing how, with the help of its electronic warfare media, which is more modern than NATO, during the war, Russia will “disable” all means of communication in Europe.
In this regard, the military expert well-versed in the topic of electronic warfare, Vladimir Gondarov, said:
Yes, we can completely disable all wireless and terrestrial communications and any type of communication, but within a range of about 10 kilometers. To achieve these goals, we have the “Gettel” complexes, but Europe is more than 10 kilometers wide.
According to Gondarov, not only we, but Europe and the United States also lack the possibility to completely cut off our contacts. And he said:
Do you remember the information security doctrine that was adopted in our country? In developing this doctrine, electronic warfare systems, such as “Samarkand”, protect us from the penetrations of European and American Reb systems.
He added: Now, “our partners” cannot eavesdrop on us, nor determine what and where exactly is on our territory of important things. Suppose someone will direct their missiles at specific targets in Moscow, but they cannot do that. We have, if you notice, on city streets, almost every 200 meters, huge towers equipped with all kinds of equipment. This is a kind of defense against missiles. These towers also contain equipment that can distort the navigation signal, creating an electromagnetic “mirage”. And that’s what Americans never like.
