The average price of regular gasoline throughout 2021 was 20.06 pesos per liter, with an increase of 11.6% or an additional 2.09 pesos per liter to the average of the previous year (17.96), as published by the Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE).

Meanwhile, the price of Premium gasoline in the national average for all of 2021 was 21.78 pesos per liter, with which it had an annual increase of 16.1%, which implies that it cost the consumer an additional 3.02 pesos per liter to the average price of gasoline. 2020.
In the month of December, Premium gasoline had a national average price of 22.45 pesos per liter, which increased 0.76% in one month, although the annual increase in the average amount paid by motorists was 21.4 percent.
Finally, the 2021 average price of diesel was 21.45 pesos per liter, which implies an increase of 9.54% or a rise of 1.87 pesos per liter in one year.
In December, the national average price of this fuel was 21.82 pesos per liter, a monthly increase of 0.83%, although in one year the increase was 13.9 percent.
