‘Be greedy when others are fearful and fearful when others are greedy.’ So said investing guru Warren Buffett.
So which do investors opt for right now? Are we being greedy or are we being fearful?
There are plenty of signals either side.
For greedy – there are huge valuations on certain tech companies in the States, markets are hitting record highs and the global economy is not doing too badly.
For fearful – well there’s still this air of pessimism that continues to pervade, with government bonds trading at record lows.
Justin Urquhart Stewart, of Seven Investment Management, joins Simon Lambert for the Investing Show where we look at how investors should navigate this quandary, whether they are long-term investors or looking to enter the market.
