Pat Riley would have been interested in hiring John Wall if he finally reaches a termination agreement with the Houston Rockets, reported the Miami Herald. The former Wizards player is currently removed from Texas discipline, and his situation is nowhere near being resolved.
It should be remembered that Wall is currently the highest paid of the Rockets with a salary of 44.31 million for this year, and a player option valued at 47 million for the next season 2022-23 and that he will surely make effective.
The Miami franchise would seek to shore up the base position with the arrival of Wall, being a luxury reinforcement for the incumbent Kyle Lowry and a future partner of backcourt of young Tyler Herro.
In 40 official meetings with the Rockets he averaged 20.6 points, 3.2 rebounds and 6.9 assists in 32.2 minutes per game.
