The Turkish “Justice and Development” party considered the statements of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, in which he said that the Yerevan boycott of Turkish goods has crippled the Turkish economy, “the stupidest joke in 2020.”
Party spokesman Omar Celik said, “These statements can be considered the stupidest joke for 2020.”
On the other hand, Celik indicated that the parties hostile to his country within the European Union do not want good for the “old continent.”
And he considered that “everyone who is hostile to Turkey within the European Union wants to eliminate the future of the continent.”
Commenting on the completion of Britain’s exit process from the European Union, he believed that “Europe must from now on work to build more strategic relations with Turkey.”
He added, “Had it not been for Turkey’s role in dealing with the migration crisis, the extreme right-wing and fascists who exploit the immigration issue would have destroyed Europe’s democracy.”
