North Korea’s leader, Kim Jong Un, has affirmed that his country intends to continue developing its relations with both Russia and China.

In a speech delivered on Friday at a general conference of the country’s ruling Korean Workers’ Party, Kim Jong Un said that Pyongyang had laid a foundation for developing and expanding friendly relations with Moscow, and had also received guarantees of determination to enhance bilateral contacts from Beijing.
During the same speech, the North Korean leader described the United States as the “greatest enemy” of his country, calling on Washington to abandon its “aggressive policies.”
