Jordan’s King Abdullah II, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, on Monday inaugurated the building of the Royal Air Force University Technical College for Aviation Sciences on the campus of the King Hussein Air Force Academy.
King Abdullah II listened to a briefing on the technical and technical capabilities available at the University College, which began receiving students in 2015, and awards a bachelor’s degree in the fields of aviation sciences, navigation sciences and air traffic control.
The college will open new majors in aircraft maintenance technology, aviation safety science, and aviation management, to meet the needs of the market locally and abroad.
The Supreme Commander of the Jordanian Armed Forces congratulated the first graduates who obtained a bachelor’s degree in Navigation and Air Control Sciences.
In a related context, the Jordanian monarch inaugurated the renewable energy project at King Hussein Air College, which is one of the largest energy projects in the public sector in the Kingdom.
The college’s renewable energy project will supply the electrical system network with a total capacity of 22,000 gigawatts annually.
