Mismanagement invade the STIRTT; workers seek removal of leader Ricardo Acedo

Given the lack of accountability members of the Union of Workers of the Radio, Television and Telecommunications Industry (STIRTT) affiliated with the Confederation of Workers of Mexico (CTM), demand the resignation of their leader, Ricardo Acedo Samaniego, the embezzlement amounts to 65 million pesos.

Silvia Eréndira Álvarez Lara, Secretary of Statistics and Union Promotion, pointed out that “the commitment is to defend and not allow these outrages to continue, we do not want more corrupt leaders, we no longer need Ricardo Acedo Samaniego.”

Laura Lizbeth Escalante Canto, Secretary of Education, Training and Training, highlighted “that the workers of the radio and television industry trust that the Statutes that govern the internal life of the union will be applied exactly.”

Carlos Ugalde López, Secretary of Relations, pointed out that “the union has lost the authority of the general secretary before the companies, companies where we all work. All of us who are present here request the support of the CTM and its general secretary, Carlos Aceves del Olmo, because we want the money back, the union cannot go adrift”.

Subsequently, all the workers went to the offices of the STIRTT National Committee to demand the resignation of the general secretary, Ricardo Acedo Samaniego. Faced with the pressure and the slogans expressed, the general secretary left the facilities, which remained in the custody of the workers.
