The Prisons and Reintegration Administration in Morocco denied what was reported by some websites regarding the health status of detained activist Nasser Zefzafi.
The local prison “Tanga 2” indicated that “regarding the allegations received about what was published by the sister of one of the prisoners, about the fact that the detainee in question was feeling hypersensitive for a period of time that forced him to use asthma medication several times, and other medications to treat allergies that the doctor prescribed to him.
He added, “These allegations are baseless.”
He continued: “On the first of January, Zefzafi told the medical staff of the Foundation, that he feels pain at the level of the throat due to his suffering from allergies, according to him, and the appropriate medicine has been prescribed for him and delivered to him immediately.”
The prison administration condemned “the actions of some parties that have consistently fabricated facts that are unfounded, for considerations that have nothing to do with the reality of prisoners inside the institution.”
