Rondo region will become this Tuesday new players of the Lakers, thus returning to the team with which he was champion in 2020. After a year in which he has met three teams (Hawks, Clippers and Grizzlies), the point guard decides to return to sign for one year and for the minimum of veteran that marks the NBA.
Rondo, after fixing some issues this past Monday, plans to sign this Tuesday. Between his buyout and the salary on his new team, Rondo will keep the salary of 7.5 million this year. He joins the club of those who have only signed for one year in the Los Angeles team, as is the case of Carmelo Anthony, Trevor Ariza, Kent Bazemore, Wayne Ellington Malik Monk, all of them new this season.
It remains to be seen if the Lakers close the squad with the signing of Rondo or will they still try to make some other reinforcement in a market of players that has less and less troops.
