A less than two months to the All Star de Cleveland 2022, one of the highlights of the season, voting to make up the starting quintets have already begun. And like every year, the NBA summons fans from all over the world to be part of the jury that will choose the 10 privileged who will start the game of the stars on its 71st anniversary.

The voting period, sponsored by Tissot, began last Christmas day and will be extended until next January 22, giving fans the opportunity to vote through the NBA App, NBA.com and Twitter. Cleveland All Star game will be held on Sunday, February 20, 2022.

During these four weeks of voting, each fan may cast a maximum of one vote per day, and you will have to choose 10 players each time from a selected list. During the calendar, there will be four special days in which the vote of each fan counts double: January 7, January 13, January 17 and January 20.
When it comes to counting the votes, the choices of the fans will count 50% of the total, while the votes of the players and the media will have a value of 25% each. There will be three times when voting results are shared: January 6, January 13, and January 20.
TNT will be in charge of revealing the two starting quintets and the two captains and will do so on January 27. He will also announce the reserves that will be chosen by the coaches on February 3.
The final step is the NBA All Star Draft in which the captains will choose the final teams for the game, first the starters and then the reserves that come out in each conference. The captains will be the two starting players with the highest number of votes in each of the conferences.
