Night clashes with shells in the southern suburb of Beirut (video)

On Monday night, the Al-Laylaki area in the southern suburbs of Beirut witnessed clashes with bullets and shells, resulting in a number of wounded, while Lebanese media reported one dead.

The Lebanese News Agency reported, “4 people were injured as a result of violent clashes that took place in the evening between two families in Al-Kafaat and Al-Laylaki in the southern suburbs of Beirut, in which bullets and RPGs were used.”

For his part, “Lebanon 24” website said, “The renewed clashes of Al-Laylaki have resulted in one person being killed.”

It should be noted, this area of ​​the southern suburbs is subject to the influence of “Hezbollah” and the “Amal” movement, and it frequently witnesses armed clashes between families and clans in the region that reside in the area over personal differences.
