A spokesman for the Ministry of Hajj in Saudi Arabia, Hisham Saeed, said in a press conference yesterday, Saturday, that the number of pilgrims this year exceeded 900,000, about 85% of them from outside the Kingdom, noting that Saudi Arabia seeks to increase their number in the coming years according to the health situation in the world.
In the same press conference, the spokesman for the Ministry of Health, “Mohammed Al-Abd Al-Aali,” said that the health condition of the pilgrims is reassuring, and that no epidemic or threatening diseases have been recorded.
