A US Justice Department spokeswoman announced today, Thursday, the arrest of a Pennsylvania man who threw a fire extinguisher at police as protesters stormed the Capitol Building in Washington last week.

The Wall Street Journal earlier reported the arrest of retired firefighter Robert Sanford of Chester, Pennsylvania.
She added that he would face three federal criminal charges, including assaulting a police officer.
She said Sanford is not the same person who is suspected of murdering Capitol Police officer Brian Secnick last week.
