Democratic Rep. Jamie Raskin stated President Joe Biden was “right to sound the alarm” about MAGA Republicans and their risk to democracy.
“Two of the hallmarks of a fascist political get together are a single, they will not take the benefits of elections that you should not go their way and two, they embrace political violence,” Raskin said on CBS’s “Face the Nation” on Sunday. “And I think which is why President Biden was right to sound the alarm this week about these continuing assaults on our constitutional order from the outdoors by Donald Trump and his movement.”
Raskin, a member of the Household pick committee investigating the Capitol insurrection, was speaking about former President Donald Trump’s phone to have the 2020 election rerun, or that he must be reinstated into business.

During a primetime speech on Thursday, Biden warned of the potential risks of extremism from MAGA Trump supporters.
“Democracy can not survive when one aspect believes there are only two outcomes to an election: both they gain or they had been cheated. And that is wherever MAGA Republicans are now,” Biden reported.
Biden stated that when “not even a the vast majority of Republicans, are MAGA Republicans” and “not each individual Republican embraces their severe ideology,” the GOP nowadays is “dominated, driven and intimidated by Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans. And that is a threat to this state.”
