The Belarusian opposition, Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, uses a convoy of three luxury cars to travel in Helsinki, accompanied by a group of security personnel to guard them.
A correspondent of “Novosti” agency said that its convoy in Helsinki includes a car: Audi A7, a Mercedes minivan, and a Volkswagen minibus.
Tikhanovskaya is accompanied by a group of assistants, as well as at least 4 security personnel, one of whom speaks Russian.
Tikhanovskaya is in the Finnish capital from March 1 to March 4. So far, this Belarusian opposition has met with Finnish President Sauli Niinistö, and will later meet with the Prime Minister of Finland, and with the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Earlier, the Belarus investigation committee announced that it would seek to issue an international search warrant against Tikhanovskaya, and to demand that foreign countries hand it over to the authorities in Minsk.
