During a press briefing today, Tuesday, Kirill Dmitriev, the general manager of the fund that monopolizes supplies of the “Sputnik V” vaccine (designed by the “Gamalia” Scientific Center of the Russian Ministry of Health) confirmed that the vaccine is currently under production or will soon begin production in India, South Korea and Brazil, In addition to China.
Dmitriev added that the fund plans to produce “Sputnik V” in Kazakhstan, “and to develop its production in Belarus, Turkey and possibly Iran.” He mentioned that India, where the volume of Russian vaccine production is close to the volume of production in Russia itself, remains a vital center for the manufacture of “Sputnik V” in the world.
