On the importance of the dinar, Dr. Muhammad al-Hajj, professor of archeology at the Department of Tourism and Archeology at the University of Hail, emphasized that this dinar dates back to the early Abbasid era, or what is known as the first Abbasid era, and specifically to the era of the Abbasid Caliph Harun al-Rashid, the most important successor to the Abbasid state who ruled during the recent period Between 170 AH to 193 AH.
