In response to a question from one of the beneficiaries: “Are the land borders open to those outside the Kingdom from the Kingdom to Jordan?”, The official passport account via Twitter said: “All international flights for travelers have been suspended, and entry to the Kingdom through the land and sea ports has been suspended temporarily for a week.” .
He added, “This excludes the movement of goods and commodities, supply chains, and exceptional cases.”
It should be noted that Saudi Arabia is the second Arab country to take measures related to stopping flights with Britain, as Kuwait has stopped entry to flights coming from Britain, after the United Kingdom revealed that it had detected a new strain of the Corona virus that is fast-spreading.
Many countries, most of them European, have taken decisions banning travel to and from Britain and preventing entry to flights coming from the United Kingdom.
The new strain discovered in the capital London and southeast England raised mounting global fears, amid warnings of the World Health Organization, which announced the monitoring of cases of this strain in the Netherlands, Denmark and Australia.
