The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed “the Kingdom’s strong condemnation and condemnation” of the double suicide bombing in the center of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, which resulted in dozens of dead and wounded.

The ministry reiterated the kingdom’s “categorical rejection of terrorism in all its forms and forms, whatever its motives and justifications,” stressing the Kingdom’s standing and solidarity with the sisterly Republic of Iraq against what threatens its security and stability.
The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs also expressed “condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims and to the government and people of the Republic of Iraq, while wishing the injured a speedy recovery.”
And the Iraqi government announced that more than 30 people were killed and 100 wounded as a result of two suicide bombings that rocked the center of the capital, Baghdad, today, Thursday.
The RT correspondent confirmed earlier in the day that a suicide bomber blew himself up in a crowded clothes market in Tayaran Square in the city center, adding that a second suicide explosion followed the first, which occurred hundreds of meters away in the Bab al-Sharqi area.
