The Undersecretary of the Saudi Ministry of Health, Hani Joukhadar, said that the current situation of Corona injuries in the Kingdom does not require more severe measures than was taken.
He said, “Strict measures will be imposed in the event of a continuous increase in injuries by 5 to 10%,” adding that “the stable daily increase is what worries us.”
He continued: “We call on everyone to ensure that the infection is not transmitted to places of family gatherings and to adhere to preventive measures, as the largest number of daily infections at the present time locally and internationally is related to household gatherings.”
On the latest developments in Corona vaccines, he said that “the beneficiaries of the second dose will be rescheduled during the next week and during the next three months, the doses will cover a large proportion of the Kingdom’s population.”
Today, Saturday, Saudi Arabia recorded four new deaths from the Corona virus, bringing the total deaths to 6,428.
While 337 new injuries were counted, bringing the total number of injuries to 372,410 cases.
