According to a survey carried out by the Inmuebles24 portal, 51% of those interviewed said they knew the term “smart home” and 86% of that total demonstrated willingness to have security cameras in their homes.

Despite the fact that the issue has gained ground in society, in the survey only 33% of those seeking housing do so with the aim of acquiring a “smart home” and 42% say they would consider it, but it is not a priority.

Even though security is a key element to feel good and comfortable, 33% of those who responded also indicated distrust in terms of having their privacy invaded.

Cameras, lights and locks; the most searched

A home the smart department It is characterized by having a set of technology systems that automates the operation of a large part of its facilities, whether they are security, energy or communications systems.

When asking respondents about the items “smart” with whom you would like to have in your homethose referring to safety and the environment stood out, such as: security cameras (86%), lights (74%), locks (65%) and air conditioners (48%).

On the other hand, Inmuebles24 recorded that part of the users already have some devices or systems, among the most mentioned are:

• 47% Televisor Smart.
• 36% Security cameras.
• 32% Lights.
• 26% voice assistant.
• 23% Kitchen appliances.

Regarding the actions they carry out within their home for the care of the environment, five main ones were pointed out:

1. – 86% Use less consumption led bulbs.
2. – 65% recycling tools.
3. – 54% Install low water flow appliances.
4. – 50% Reuse containers to avoid plastic waste.
5. – 34% Use organic cleaning products.
