Senegal qualified for the African Nations Cup semi-finals, by defeating Equatorial Guinea 3-1 in the quarter-finals of the tournament in Cameroon on Sunday.
Mara Didio advanced to Senegal after Sadio Mane’s pass in the 28th minute, and Equatorial Guinea suddenly equalized after Yannick Boyla’s shot in the 57th minute.

But substitute Shekho Kouyati scored the second goal for Senegal from a defensive error in the 68th minute, then the other substitute Ismaila Sarr won the victory with a third goal after following a cross in the 79th minute.
Senegal, who lost to Algeria in the 2019 Nations Cup final, will play in the semi-finals next Wednesday with Burkina Faso, which beat Tunisia 1-0 in the quarter-finals on Saturday.
