Senegal qualified for the African Nations Cup semi-finals, by defeating Equatorial Guinea 3-1 in the quarter-finals of the tournament in Cameroon on Sunday.

But substitute Shekho Kouyati scored the second goal for Senegal from a defensive error in the 68th minute, then the other substitute Ismaila Sarr won the victory with a third goal after following a cross in the 79th minute.
Senegal, who lost to Algeria in the 2019 Nations Cup final, will play in the semi-finals next Wednesday with Burkina Faso, which beat Tunisia 1-0 in the quarter-finals on Saturday.
