Ski Sunday host Chemmy Alcott gets dressing down from BBC bosses again over breach of conflict of interest rules after plugging her Snow Finel clothing range on screen
BBC Ski Sunday presenter Chemmy Alcott has received a dressing down from TV bosses after she was once again caught promoting her clothing range on screen.
She breached BBC rules on conflicts of interest by wearing knitwear from the skiwear brand Snow Finel while on the show.
Alcott, 40, has been a brand ambassador for the firm for four years – even designing some of their ranges.
But last year the host was ‘reminded of the BBC’s guidelines in relation to commercial conflicts of interest’ after she was caught wearing the clothes on Ski Sunday as well as during coverage of the Winter Olympics.

This month, she once again wore Snow Finel during Ski Sunday’s first two episodes which aired on BBC Two.
A BBC spokesperson told MailOnline: ‘Chemmy will not be wearing the brand in question on air again and has been spoken to about this.’
Meanwhile, Snow Finel has been highlighting her on-screen outfits on social media.

BBC rules declare that presenters are not allowed to ‘appear on air wearing clothes or using products, goods or services which they have agreed, or been contracted, to promote or in which they have financial interest’.
It comes after television presenter Alex Scott received a slap on the wrist from the BBC after she also broke the rules by plugging a clothing brand on Instagram while marking her time at the World Cup 2022 in Quatar.
Scott, 38, posted a series of pictures of herself looking glamorous in the studio, including a photo of her dressed in an orange Reiss suit and heels.
The former footballer, an ambassador for the high-end clothing brand, tagged Reiss in her post while also mentioning the BBC in the caption – breaking their commercial rules.
